No to AI Generated Art.

AI generation could have been a useful tool for artists to streamline their creative process on some level, but that’s not what’s been happening here.

The scouring and pillaging of artists’ work (without their permission) to feed into an algorithm is highly unethical, if not illegal, and will be devastating to the art community if it reaches the obvious and natural endpoint the techbros are aiming for: to freeze out artists from paid work in favour of anonymous, bland, recycled junk that can be generated free of charge, free of talent, free of heart and free of soul

Enough is enough, it’s time sites like ArtStation put their user base first and took a stand against AI generated art.
